August 2022 – Making an icon begins with a bold idea: to create the world’s greatest vacation. Come January 2024, Royal Caribbean International is bringing this game-changing vision to life with the introduction of Icon of the Seas. You could say Icon has been in the making for more than 50 years, combining the best of the cruise line’s past, present and future. In the first episode of “Making an Icon,” Envisioning an Iconic Vacation, meet many of the innovators behind it all. From naval architects to interior designers and industrial engineers, to futurists and more, they share details from the early days of imagining the soon-to-be-revealed cruise ship and a sense of the revolutionary, evolutionary and familiar experiences to come.

On Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class, The Hideaway adults-only neighborhood features the first suspended pool at sea, along with uninterrupted ocean views with beach club vibes. Tucked away on Icon Class vacations, The Hideaway is the ideal spot for vacationers to unwind at the end of the day and catch the sunset, while enjoying a dedicated bar, a DJ, and whirlpools and loungers.

Introducing Chill Island on Royal Caribbean’s Icon Class. December 2024 - The ultimate beach day debuts in Nassau, The Bahamas in December 2025. The 17-acre slice of paradise is next up in the Royal Beach Club Collection and joins Royal Caribbean’s lineup of destinations, which includes the award-winning Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. The new destination experience will combine the Bahamian spirit, culture and locale with Royal Caribbean’s signature experiences to create an all-inclusive beach day.

The ultimate beach day is in store. Opening in December 2025, Royal Caribbean’s Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will be a 17-acre slice of paradise in Nassau, The Bahamas. With two beaches, three stunning pools, the world’s largest swim-up bar, cabanas and a variety of spots to grab a bite and drink, the first in the Royal Beach Club Collection is designed to deliver the perfect combination of family time, chill and celebration. The vibrant culture and spirit of The Bahamas are at the heart of the experience, reflected in every detail—from the architectural design and live music and entertainment to the local art and cuisine.

May 2024 – Starting July 2024 in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, vacationers can make a splash in more ways than one on Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas. The ultimate short getaway features more pools than the days to count, with vibes of all kinds, a trio of adrenaline-pumping waterslides, the FlowRider surf simulator and more. Plus, the adventure continues at private island Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, with everything from seven stretches of beach to the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean and 14 waterslides.

April 2024 – Royal Caribbean’s new Utopia of the Seas will get the party of all parties started with unmatched weekend energy when it debuts with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday getaways from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, in July. The ways to party and make memories day and night span 20-plus bars and more hot spots, including the brand-new Caribbean bar, Pesky Parrot, with surprises in store; two casinos with more than 400 games to play, The Lime & Coconut at the center of the action on the lively pool deck, The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar; and even spots for the whole family like Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade and more.
