November 2022 – The world’s first zero-energy cruise terminal, Royal Caribbean’s $125 million facility in Galveston, Texas, is days away from completion. The 161,334-square-foot facility opens this month, welcoming Allure of the Seas – the first Oasis Class ship and the largest to call Texas home – ahead of its first sailing on Nov. 13, 2022.

September 2022 – In keeping with Royal Caribbean’s Blue Green Promise to support the ocean communities it visits, the cruise line recently donated much needed educational resources and support to students and teachers at Amaro Primary School on Lelepa Island.

June 2021 - A new, revolutionary era of cruising is setting sail in fall 2023 with the debut of Royal Caribbean International’s first Icon Class ship, Icon of the Seas. Construction is now underway on the cruise line’s first LNG-powered ship, which will include a lineup of other advanced environmental technologies and game-changing experiences and features for guests and crew. More details about the first of three Icon Class ships will be revealed at a future date.
