November 2022 – The next big, bold family vacation in Texas kicked off with the opening of Royal Caribbean International’s new $125 million cruise terminal in Galveston and the arrival of the state’s largest cruise ship yet, Allure of the Seas. The 161,334-square-foot facility will be the world’s first zero-energy cruise terminal, and it’s the starting point for the action-packed Oasis Class ship’s 7-night Western Caribbean cruises to Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, and Roatan, Honduras.

July 2020 – Muster 2.0™ is a new approach to delivering safety information to guests. The first-of-its-kind program reimagines the traditional safety drill, a process originally designed for large groups of people, into a faster, more personal approach that encourages higher levels of safety.Eliminating the gathering of large crowds, the program’s new technology – eMuster™ – will make key elements of the drill, including where to go in case of an emergency and instructions on how to properly use a life jacket, accessible to guests on an individual basis via their mobile devices and interactive stateroom TVs. Muster 2.0™ will be among the comprehensive protocols Royal Caribbean Group is developing with the Healthy Sail Panel.
